Kristin Fischer is set to join CNN as its Space and Defense Correspondent in July 2021. In her new position, Fisher will cover everything from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Biden and Trump Administrations' positions in space matters. While there she also reported on two impeachment trials for the president, the 2020 presdiential campaign and two administration's efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic. The extensive trips she took with the Vice President and the President included an official trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on along with Donald Trump.
