Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actor as well as producer. She has been awarded numerous acting awards and is one of the most well-paid actors. She also serves as the ambassador for various brands and has a clothing line for women which is called Nush. Forbes Magazine has featured her as well. Anushka Sharma was born on May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh. Her parents were Kumar Sharma & Ashima Sharma. Anushka was the daughter of the retired colonel. The mother of the family is household worker. Karnesh Singh, her brother and filmmaker, was a member of the Merchant Navy. Anushka is a graduate at the Army School Bangalore. She has also earned a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College located in Bangalore. Anushka has a Masters in Arts (Economics). Anushka has always wanted to become either an actress or journalist, and never an actor. Anushka was enrolled into Elite Model Management after graduating and was trained by Prasad Bidapa, the stylist consultant. Anushka's first time as a fashion model came in 2017 when she walked for Wendell Rodricks at Lakme Fashion Week followed by being picked by Rodricks for a role in his spring-summer 2007 collection. Since her modelling debut in Lakme Fashion Week Anushka did several campaigns for brands like her campaigns for their Silk & Shine Whisper Nathella Jewelry and Fiat Palio etc. Anushka started auditioning films and enrolled in an acting school in addition to her work as models. Anushka Sharma's first acting role was in the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. To get ready for the test on screen, she spent the whole day. Then she was commissioned for three movies under the Yash Raj Films label. The film in which she appeared was portrayed as a young lady who got married to a middle-aged man (the role Shah Rukh Khan is playing). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka played Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang and Vir Das in the movie Badmash Company. The movie received mixed critiques. Anushka Sharma was in the same movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played a Punjabi woman from the middle classes who runs her own wedding business. The film was praised by critics, and was considered an overnight success. Anushka completed her three-film deal in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
